She landed upon the barren field with exalted grace, her descent likely sensed by the demons within the area. As a stealthy approach proved nigh impossible, Lorelei scanned the perimeter for any signs of activity. She was no fool to believe that her mission was just a mere coincidence. Her brethren had voiced their outcry upon learning Lorelei had spared a spawn of their fallen brother, Lucifer. This was a test. If she failed to intercept and impede the advances of the demon prince's army... even Lorelei, an archangel, would be subject to punishment of reformation.
Without further delay, the angel advanced forward and unfurled her light like a blanket across the field. Should even the smallest of wild borne animals so much as breathe, Lorelei would be able to sense it.
In truth, she had been looking forward to the day she would encounter the demon Kieren again. For combat or another simple "chat," Lorelei welcomed any form of interaction. Perhaps it was his demonic charm attempting to pry its way into Lorelei's head, but nevertheless there seemed to be kind of... thrill in knowledge she would face one of Heaven's most wanted once more. It's your desire to repent, Lorelei assured herself. It is not because you have grown fond of the demon. Never forget that.
After continuing her sweep of the barren wasteland and finding almost nothing in her path, Lorelei came to an abrupt halt as she felt the slightest disturbance upon the edge of her veil of light. It was small yet quick; it could easily be mistaken for a bird. It's inclined target, however, was all the more obvious as to whom her pursuant was...
With speed and fluidity far too fast for the human eye to see, Lorelei spun on the spot, spear held high, and was instantly met face to face with the commander-in-chief himself: Kieren.
"You must have taken quite a liking to me if you are here now, Lorelei." Kieren easily evaded her attack. His speed equally matching hers as he grasped her spear, using it to being the angel closer to him. The holy weapon burned at his touch but it did not phase Kieren, his eyes never so much as betrayed a glimmer of pain.
ReplyDelete"Had I known you were coming, I would have made myself more presentable." He grinned at the angel, his expression holding nothing but mischievous intentions.
"Enough of this." With all the grace of a true warrior, she easily slipped her weapon out of his hands and had it pointed at his jugular the time it took to blink.
"End it then, what are you waiting for?"
Her gaze was impossible to read, she showed no clue to her next move. What an interesting little creature she was. Had she come all this way to play? Of course not, but he would like to think so.
"I will be glad to slay you here and now, but first, you will tell me where your army of demons are." Her voice was surprisingly soft, yet her tone was firm. It didn't take him long to realize just how much it actually. . . excited him?
What. The. Hell?
Kieren growled, fed up with the situation already. Without so much as moving, the holy weapon shook in the angels hands. Her eyes widened slightly in shock, but that was as far as her emotions went. The tip of the spear bent away from him, as if repulsed by his very presence. It would have bent all the way had the angel not immediately put distance them.
"Come now, Lorelei, " He laughed, his voice already becoming masked by one much more sinister. "you should have come more prepared."
This was growing cumbersome. Lorelei had never met a demon with any sense of "charm;" it was customary for vile creatures such as Kieren to lash out violently with the sole intent to kill or torture. There was never a point in the archangel's life where she was left in quite in a bewilderment and Lorelei would be lying if she were to say that she wasn't entranced (to a certain degree) by the demon prince. Lorelei observed the bent end of her spear; this would end up being prolonged more than expected if she didn't gather her wits at once.
ReplyDelete"Do not be so sure, demon." She twisted the lock at the center of the spear and pulled at each end, revealing a single blade on either rod. With haste, Lorelei leapt forward towards the demon as she poised each rapier in hand. Kieren feinted to the side, his hand bared to grasp the weapon closest to him; Lorelei turned on the spot, swinging her opposite arm outward as she ducked the other from his reach. A well placed arm blocked her attack using his forearm, his other hand grasped her wrist, imprisoning her in his grasp. Utilizing the momentum from her counterattack, Lorelei swung her leg up, aiming for Kieren's head; he twisted her in his grip in response and the archangel faltered. She dug her sword deeply into the ground for stability and shoved her captive arm away, the tip of the rapier grazing the demon as he lost his grip from the force of the swing.
Kieren stood mere inches away from the poised weapon that distanced himself from the archangel as he inspected the lengthy scratch across his collarbone. The bright yellow of his captivating eyes rested upon Lorelei with amusement. "That's more like it."
Lorelei locked her arms for combat when the demon moved, only to find he was uncharacteristically taking the trouble of removing the torn armament from his person. If the archangel's eyes lingered upon the beautiful physique of his body being exposed marginally so, it was for the purpose of preparing herself for any underhanded trick Kieren would surely pull. Regardless, even for Lorelei, it was hard to believe that was the real reason. She wasn't the only one.
"See something you like?" The archangel blinked, her vision enveloped completely with the sight of Kieren's bare flesh as he now abruptly stood a breath-widths away from her. She couldn't move; the shock of having been caught off guard blocked out her senses but within seconds Lorelei regained some composure as she leapt backwards, fighting the temptation to be locked in by those sinful eyes. Her heart thundered in her ears and she was altogether breathless, but it was foolish to assume angels felt the sensation of exhaustion or excitement... so why was there a small, sly grin lining Lorelei's lips?
"My, aren't you full of surprises, Kieren."
Yes, a small, fond voice echoed in Lorelei's mind... he certainly was.
She all but purred his name, stirring something within Kieren that had him pause. Suddenly he wondered, what would she feel like pressed tightly against him. . . fighting with all her might. He smirked, his body tensing as his eyes set for Lorelei with malicious intent. He lunged towards her just as she brought her weapons up for a defense. Kieren dodged the sharp ends of her holy blades as he jumped into the air and landed soundlessly behind her. She spun on her heel, her blades coming down in an arch towards his neck. Instead of dodging however, Kieren intercepted the rapiers with his own weapons. He redirected her blades towards her side, turning his own to disarm one of her hands, but he knew it wouldn't be that easy. In a fraction of a second, Lorelei twisted her wrist and sent one of his swords flying out of his grasp.
ReplyDeleteHis smirk widened, amusement flashed behind his eyes. No one had ever been able to disarm him before. "Sneaky little angel."
He was tired of playing these games, he was after. . . a much bigger prize. Before she could move away from him, Kieren enshrouded her in a dark mist with every intention on taking her as a trophy and teaching those angels to _never_ come after him again. . . Of course. . . that was his intentions. Sometimes things never went down how they were planned.
Her eyes widened in shock as she tried to escape, but he quickly took the opportunity to swipe away her other blade and bring her in closer. Those eyes snapped up to his, the fires of a fight already dwelling in their mesmerizing depths. It was a brief moment, couldn't have been more than five seconds, and he cursed himself for letting it happen. . .for the moment they were both in that dark mist, Lorelei pressed against him, their lips mere inches from each other . . .Kieren felt his heartbeat falter before setting off. And it had the very spawn of Lucifer freeze in his tracks. He'd never been. . . caught off guard, never been at a loss for words but now, the damned angel seemed to steal all of his wits away. And so he stood there, his hand resting upon her slender hip. His eyes slowly finding those luscious lips of hers and before he could stop himself, Kieren took them. Lorelei stiffened in his arms, a gasp escaped her lips and her hands immediately went to his shoulders to push him away. But he held fast to her, his tongue swiping over hers. Of all the unholy things. . . she tasted of rose water, pure and addicting. She could have stabbed him multiple times and he wouldn't have cared. Honestly. . . her fighting was a turn on for him and it only resulted in him deepening the kiss to elicit more of her gasps.
It was over then. Nothing she could ever do would prevent him from seeking what he wanted. His mind was already made up, his dark heart already set. He would have this angel. . . oh yes. . .she would be his.
The archangel struggled relentlessly in the demon's grasp, reaching up into Kieren's hair and clenching at the roots to pull him away from her lips. A deep rumble resonated from him in response and he clutched onto her more vigorously than before, his hands caressing every curve of her body. It wasn't enough and soon Kieren worked his wicked hands to the laces on the back of Lorelei's dress, eagerly exposing as much flesh as he could. She reached back and grasped his hand; the demon made easy work of her hold and twisted Lore's wrist, completely incapacitating her arm. The archangel gasped in frustration as she broke free from Kieren's lips, glaring as he moved to the curve of her neck while his other hand proceeded to finishes undressing her.
ReplyDeleteLorelei ignored the tingling along the surface of her skin wherever Kieren touched and consciously attempted to keep from arching into his possessive caressing, but it appeared her body was reluctant to comply. It wasn't until she heard the demon silently curse to himself that Lore realized she had let slip a moan and it was like a slap back into reality. She had to remain focused! Every response he elicited from her only put Kieren into more of a frenzy, losing all sense of self control and immersing himself deeper into his fit of passion. She had to wonder...
"Christ," Kieren growled as the archangel's hand quickly found his already erect cock, gripping it gently and slowly increasing pressure the longer she held him. He moved his hips, causing his sex to rub rhythmically in Lore's hand. She gripped him harder; she didn't like the way he was also gyrating into her hips and especially didn't like how she felt the need to move them in time with his thrusts. They both persisted, until Kieren's breath hitched and his grasp on her loosened every so marginally but it was enough.
She turned on the spot, un-twisting her captive arm and pulling it violently to break the demon's grip but he was quick to adapt. Kieren wrenched Lore's arm back behind her and took the other arm in his grasp as well, bringing them together until he could hold both with one strong, impregnable clasp of his hand. He jerked her back roughly to line his bare chest against the cool, exposed skin of the archangel's back, making Lore shiver at the contact.
Kieren leaned down to her ear and rasped, "Wonderful trick, my little archangel. You truly are an amazingly cunning creature."
Lorelei turned her gaze to Kieren's, her breath labored and her chin held high, surveying the demon through hooded eyes. "Believe me, Kieren, I have more where that came from."
He moaned, his free hand traveling down the length of her abdomen, calculating every move he made like the malicious predator he was. Lore couldn't stop the small, startled cry when he found his mark straight and true. "Gods, I hope so."
